I am pleased to inform you that on Saturday at 10 am slt ( Uk time = 6 pm/18.00) a new maiko will debut in Hanafusa Okiya, her name is Kikuteru.
kikuteru has remarked herself already as a dilligent student, interested in every subject but perhaps paticular Kitsuke and Dance is once she find most interesting.
On this day you will be able to see her in a once in a lifetime attire, only worn by Maiko during the few days that they debut on, wearing the exact same special hairpins worn by every maiko who debuted before her in our okiya, as well as be able to admire a self written, self choeographed dance based on her life so far within the okiya.
I hope that you will have time to join us to celebrate this special day. On behalf of all of us, we are so very proud of you neechhan, and welcome to the family of flowers *(^_^)*
