Baikasai 2024

In late February, the Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto Kagai sim hosted an annual event Baikasai, also known as the Plum Blossom festival. Attendees were graciously welcomed into a specially constructed tent for the occasion, where they were regaled with tales about the shrine's rich history, the significance of plum blossoms, and the cherished traditions of the festival.

For those who missed out on this delightful event, we warmly extend an invitation to explore the serene grounds of Kitano Tenmangu Temple within Kyoto Kagai sim. Here, visitors can revel in the splendor of blooming plum trees. The best time to experience this natural wonder is from late February to mid-March, when the Plum garden is adorned with the sweet fragrance and vibrant colors of plum trees boasting red or white blossoms, both single and double-flowered.

The event was held two times:

Saturday, Feb 24th ✿ 6 am SLT (Hanafusa) and at ✿ 6 pm SLT (Komayaka)
